As agreed, the group met at Jollibee-Philcoa. I was the first to get there with Gab (Thanks for the Ride, man!), and I ordered something to eat while waiting. As the time nears 4:00am, the guys started coming. Next to me is Julie..then Pugs. Ang much to my surprise, an old friend came too.
It is an honor for me, to have this run graced by Norio Tanaka, a Bataan 102KM Finisher – one of the Top Finishers of his age category.
AT THE MEET-UP POINT
AT THE START POINT
After some photoops, we started rolling to the start-point of the run.
As usual the group would start any run (regardless of where and what time) with some more ‘picture picture’.
That’s Doctor Roy, ME, and Luis. Photo taken by Pugs.

THE ROAD UP:
FUN AT THE TOP
Just viewing the pictures would give you the obviuos impression of the fun we had. It was the finish line going up…
THE ROAD DOWN
1. Wear a trail shoes on a trail run. The feeling and sight of a race shoe in mud doesn’t appeal to me at all.
2. Be early to climb, and hurry to go down. The sun is fine. The heat, is NOT.
3. Don’t forget your mucho…I forgot mine. Am so hungry on the way down.
4. Save the photo-ops going down. Cut more time going up.
Ask me…would I do this again?
Yes, I would. This is a ‘wenner’!
